2019 Preakness Stakes Betting Odds, Analysis: Power Ranking the Contenders and Live Longshots
Together with the first four horses to cross the finish line in the 2019 Kentucky Derby bypassing the 144th Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown is shaping up for a great betting race.
There are nine new shooters in the field, and four Kentucky Derby returnees (Improbable, War of Will, Win Win Win, and Bodexpress). New shooters have only won the Preakness Stakes four occasions since the turn of this century, but at least one has finished in the trifecta at precisely the same rate over the exact same period.
You have to focus on the new shooters if you are playing race exotics. But this is also a year where one of these has a legitimate shot at winning. If that occurred, it would be the second occurrence in the past three years after Chad Brown’s Cloud Computing won the 2017 Preakness.2019 Preakness Stakes Odds

Additionally, it would not be that surprising, given the unflattering results so far of this current crop of three-year-old horses.
Odds shift dramatically from their morning line value. So which horses will offer the maximum gambling value on Saturday?
